Items to discuss at the next meeting:
1) Election of 2010 Officers. We need nominations for officers. Tim Lynch is willing to run for treasurer. All other offices are open:
Commodore
Vice Commodore
Secretary
Other Positions:
Race Committee Chair
Cruise Committee Chair
2) Resurrection of the Club Newsletter.
3) NOR for the Alex Bell and Tribune Cup Regattas
4) Spring (Frostbite) Race Series Schedule
The next race day is this coming Saturday, November 14. This is our last race day of the fall series.
Cool temperatures look to prevail, but with any luck we will have some breeze. Hopefully less than last time. Robby seems to be the wind prophet, so we’ll look to him for a prediction.
Skipper’s meeting will be at 11:00am on the dock at Hell’s Canyon Resort Marina. Racing will take place west of Red Wolf Bridge. Racing will start at NOON. No races after 4:00pm.
Join us for pizza and story telling at Fazzari’s after racing (5:30pm)
The days racing started and ended with little to no wind however 4 boats showed up and gave it their best shot. Race one was a slow fiasco with Tim somehow having a zephyr over his boat most of the way. It was like he had a wind finder in place of his wind vane. The rest of the fleet was unable to find enough wind to finish inside of the time limit and had to take DNF’s

Race two had similar wind to race one with Tim again having the wind finder on board. The rest of the fleet finished this race though and got some kind of a score.
